The Temple Complex
It would be unfair not to add a few temple photos to the mix... After all, temples are what most people come to Siem Reap for.
The ancient temples of Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm, will certainly take your breath away. Sculpted from top to bottom, they truly are masterpieces of a civilization gone missing. And there are many, many more such masterpieces. It’s quite a challenge, at times, to find one not shrouded in scaffolding, draped with tarps, or propped up with wooden struts. Waiting on wave upon wave of tourists is no fun, either. Patience and perseverance do pay off, however; and, if you poke around a bit you’ll even discover things that don’t meet the common eye. But temples are not everything.
Cambodia is so much more than tour guides and tumbled-down stones--something you'll hardly realize if all you've come for is a Temple Tour. Remember, Cambodia today is a country in motion; the temples--or what remains of them--are all just standing still!
So, if temples are not your thing (they're definitely not ours!) or you've done them, are fed up with selfie sticks, 'templed-out', and looking for something else to do, check out the Eco Tours Bees Unlimited--Your Temple Tour Alternative offers. We would love to show you the vibrant and colourful Cambodia that's alive and away from tourists, where photo ops galore await the discerning eye.
