Floating Village Tour
This out-of-the-way tour--a three hour tuk tuk ride round trip to Kompong Kleang--focuses on what Bees Unlimited does best: people, food, culture, religious activities, and the daily life of Cambodians--albeit in an aquatic environment--where children paddle to school in the rainy season and where villagers, in the dry season, mend their nets, repair and build traps, patch up their boats, clean and smoke fish, busy themselves with other activities related primarily to fishing and shrimping, and basically get on with life the way they know it...
There are interesting things to see and do along the way, such as brick/tile-making, hammock-braiding, and incense-making, before either taking a boat ride (in the rainy season) to SE Asia's largest freshwater lake--the Tonle Sap, or walking through the village and interacting with local residents (in the dry season).
A unique and scam-free experience is guaranteed.
Price: $70/adult. $35/ea for children ages 5-11; up to age 4, no charge.
