Tarantulas
A seasonal deep-fried delight, tarantulas run less risk of over-exploitation—and of ultimate extinction—than most other creatures in Cambodia, but only because the smaller, young spiders are spared. That said, they certainly are not nearly as common in markets as they used to be.
