Cambodia’s insatiable appetite for most everything that moves, does not exclude snakes. Venomous cobras and large vipers are particularly relished; but so also are pythons, rat snakes, and others. It is the water snakes of the Tonle Sap, however, that are most exploited for food--in the countryside, as well as in the cities.
