Cambodia’s insatiable appetite for most everything that moves, includes snakes of all sorts. Cobras and large vipers are sought after and relished; but so also are the non-venomous water snakes, rat snakes, pythons, and others.
Water snakes of the Tonle Sap are, however, the ones most exploited for food--particularly by those living on, around, and near the lake.
