Petrol Stations

Petrol Stations

Back to Countryside Photos

Both the rural and urban population in Cambodia depend heavily on motorbikes for transportation. As such, it is common to see petrol "stations" every few metres, in places, and in front of many roadside houses, pretty much everywhere one goes. The fuel is served up occasionally in half-litre bottles, but the standard sizes are of 1 and 2-litre capacity... olive oil bottles, gin, rum, vodka, whiskey, Fanta, Coca Cola, whatever folk can get their hands on, really.
