Parasitized Larvae
For all the butterflies and moths that eclose in perfect shape (only to be predated upon by spiders, mantids, lizards, birds, and bats), countless larvae--some species seemingly more than others--perish to the likes of parasitic flies, wasps, and nematodes... and it's not a pretty picture.
