Dogs
Dogs may be man’s best friend--but in Cambodia they're also food. It's called Special Meat, and is cooked, deep-fried, or grilled... with pretty much everything from head to tail and toes eaten and enjoyed--mainly by men, who believe it gives them some added kick.
In July 2020 its sale and consumption was banned in Siem Reap Province, but it can still be encountered from time to time in markets and at roadside stands.
